Lucky

My little bro's wife had their baby yesterday evening. He's a St. Patrick's baby so we call him "Lucky" but his name is officially Owen Andrew Greer. We are thrilled that he's finally here...seemed like we were going to have to wait forever for Brock and Tara to start adding some cousins to our family. :)

We started potty training today. It's not going very well...
A few fun pics of the boys...

Gage Started School

Gage has been doing early intervention for the past year and he absolutely fell in love with his developmental specialist, Karmann. She is seriously amazing and literally changed our boy's life by introducing the chewy tube and a "sensory diet" (no, that has nothing to do with food, in case you were wondering...it's kind of a long story). He loved Karmann so much and then she moved to Washington. Gage still asks about Karmann often. We miss her a ton!

Anyway, then Gage turned three and qualified for early preschool. He LOVES it. His teacher is extremely patient and very calm and Gage seems to respond pretty well to that. He absolutely loves riding the bus. We are not sure what the morning bus driver's name is, but Gage adores him. When we get Gage dressed for school in the morning he always says "mom, do my hair so I look handsome for THE MAN (this is what he calls the bus driver since we dont' know his name)".

YW Snow Trip

I have the awesome privilege to serve in the Young Women organization at church. I love the girls I work with. They are so awesome. I am with the Laurels most of the time and we recently had our Priest/Laurel Stake snow trip. It was so much fun for about an hour and then thankfully, my girls were ready to head home and get out of the cold. :)

Birthday Boys

Happy Birthday to my favorite little boys!

Our boys have birthdays really close together so we made it easy this year and celebrated just once (what are you supposed to do for a one year old's birthday anyway?...)
Their awesome grandpas came in from out of town to celebrate with them. It was heaven for the boys to have three grandpa's all at once. :) Gage wanted a race car cake, so thankfully my good friend Keilene had made one last year for her son and I could copy her design. :) This is the one and only time each year when I am willing to make something that tastes like crap just for the sake of looking cute. It's just impossible to get yummy frosting and cake to hold up to any sort of decorating so you have to use SO much powdered sugar and flour.
